0.2 to Q de Kock, KNOCKED HIM OVER! Afridi is back. And Afridi has his arms up on the second ball. Another length ball that was angled in. A little nip-back in. De Kock hangs back and looks to punch it away from the body. Doesn't counter for the inward movement and inside-edges it onto the stumps. Pakistan are on the board early. 0/1 0.3 to LG Pretorius, Two in two, this is a dolly, Pretorius cannot believe it. A length ball on the pads. Nine times out of times, this is a simple ball to get off the mark. Pretorius thinks so and just plays the flick. But short fine leg is in the ring and he picks out the man to perfection. Would have been four had it been a little to the right or left of Tariq, who is on T20I debut. 0/2 18.4 to LB Williams, Backs away to go for the big hit, skies it high to the leg side. Mohammad Nawaz charges in from deep midwicket, eyes on the ball, slides as he takes it. Another offcutter that meant Williams was way early into his shot. 125/9
| 4 | 0 | 16 | 1 | 4.00 | 9 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
17.3 to A Simelane, Pace off works for Mirza now! Short ball that is angled into Simelane. He goes for the pull but only skies it high. Afridi gets around from deep midwicket and pouches it safely. 118/8
| 4 | 0 | 28 | 2 | 7.00 | 11 | 3 | 0 | 2 | 0 | |
11.4 to D Ferreira, Straight to mid-off. Ferreira's party-time is over! Ashraf providing the break and it is the big one of the opposition captain, who had injected a lot of momentum into the innings. An offcutter on a length outside off with mid-off in the ring. Ferreira looks to hit it over him but slaps it straight to Agha, who makes no mistake. 76/5 11.5 to GF Linde, Pulled straight to midwicket! Ashraf can do no wrong with ball in hand and Lahore celebrates again. Short ball angling away from Linde. It is the offcutter again. It is there to be pulled but not as early as Linde did. Finds Hasan Nawaz in the ring. Second time in the evening Pakistan have wickets off successive balls. Can Ashraf pick up a hat-trick?. 76/6
| 3 | 0 | 38 | 1 | 12.66 | 6 | 1 | 4 | 1 | 0 | |
8.2 to MP Breetzke, Beeaaauuuttyyyyyy! Nawaz finds his spot on the track and that is not good news for South Africa. He was short in his first over, now lands this nicely on a good length around middle and leg. Breetzke lunges forward to drive it inside out but he hasn't covered the line of the ball. The ball straightens and disturbs the woodwork. 42/4
| 4 | 0 | 26 | 2 | 6.50 | 7 | 0 | 1 | 2 | 0 | |
7.2 to D Brevis, Brevis goes....and goes! Tariq picks up his maiden international wicket with just his second ball. Another shortish ball. But the thing with Tariq is that it comes to you a little later than you expect, because of the pause in the run-up. Brevis looks to repeat the shot he successfully executed twice in the last over. Gets only height and no distance. It is a simple catch for Babar who takes a few steps in from long-on. South Africa slip further, and their momentum-provider is out of here. 38/3 14.3 to RR Hendricks, Well-judged catch and that is a massive wicket for Tariq. Just a while ago, broadcast showed a graphic about Hendricks scoring about 16% of the T20I runs South Africa have scored in recent times. He goes right on cue. Tossed up ball around middle and leg, goes for the sweep but gets a top edge. Hasan Nawaz runs back and across from deep backward square leg and takes it safely. 95/7

6.6 to Sahibzada Farhan, Catching practice to deep midwicket! Farhan's misery ends. Ferreira once again digs it in. Quicker in speed. He gets down on a knee to slog it away but finds Breetzke in the deep. 44/2
| 4 | 0 | 24 | 2 | 6.00 | 11 | 2 | 0 | 2 | 0 | |
1.5 to Saim Ayub, Miscued to mid-on and South Africa strike early! Ayub gives him the charge to the length ball. Looks to go over mid-on but toe-ends it to Ferreira. A blob for the Pakistan opener. 8/1 16.2 to Babar Azam, Picks out the fielder perfectly! Massive strike but Pakistan are in sight of a win. Once again the around-the-wicket bumper giving returns for South Africa. Bosch digs it in, Babar doesn't have enough time to adjust. Pulls it straight to deep backward square leg, where Hendricks takes a good catch. 125/4

15.3 to Agha Salman, Chipped to cover! Williams' method works. Short ball, cranking the pace up, angling in across. Agha gets into a tangle as he looks to pull it away, gets a top edge that Simelane catches. End of the 76-run partnership. 120/3 17.6 to Hasan Nawaz, In the air... and straight to deep square leg! Hasan Nawaz trying to chose his balls to attack. Sees the short ball angled across him as an opportunity to pull. Does not make good contact and hits it straight to Hendricks. Pakistan have lost 13 for 3 but are just seven away. 133/5

18.2 to Mohammad Nawaz, Chopped on! South Africa continue to chip away. Short ball from around the wicket, Mohammad Nawaz looks to pulls it across the line. Does not judge the bounce and gets an under edge back onto the stumps. Pakistan have lost 4 for 14 now, are South Africa still hoping against hope?. 134/6
