A contemporary handwritten score in Chertsey Museum (local to Laleham Burway) gives a much better order for Hampshire, and correctly cites the name of the match promoter, Mr Porter (SB says 'Barber'). Edmeads is given as 'Edmeads, jun' in SB, i.e. presumably William rather than the usual man, John. Surrey had Miller and Minchin as given men. Dorset made a hit for 5.
