A seam bowler, a stylish and aggressive batsman and brilliant fielder, Greig won his first cap in 1989 but then fell our of the international scene until 1993. He re-established himself as a regular player thereafter. He was a particularly key member of the side during 1996, when he was one of Scottish Cricket's "Players of the Year". He has now gained 41 caps for Scotland with the highlight undoubtedly being his match against West Indies in 1995. He scored a splendid aggressive 57 after taking 3 wickets for 68 runs. His best bowling figures are 4 for 19 against the Earl of Arundel's XI in 1996. He is both a qualified accountant and lawyer and now works as a solicitor in Glasgow.
