Middle order Batter

A stylish, top-order batsman, he played for Canada Under-19s and then represented the Americas in the 1999 U-19 World Cup, by which time he had already made his senior debut for his country. A regular in the side, he has never quite lived up to his promise, and he was out of the game for almost two years from 2005 because of a debilitating disease of the auto-immune system . Despite that, he was appointed captain in 2008 as part of the board's policy of promoting Canadian-born players.
