Profile

A right-hand medium-fast bowler, Azhar Attari took five wickets in the Pakistan Under-19 team's close win over England in the second Youth Test in Derby during the 2007 tour. Attari, an admirer of Pakistan allrounder Abdul Razzaq for his consistent line and length, has failed to establish a permanent place in the playing XI for Pakistan U-19s, but was named in the 15-member squad for the World Cup in Malaysia in 2008.
