Madan Raiji, the former Bombay and West Zone allrounder, played 34 first-class games between 1941 and 1950, scoring 1129 runs and taking 89 wickets. His best season with the ball was in 1947-48 when he took 26 wickets with his legspin. That was incidentally his best season with the bat as well as he averaged 51.77 with 466 runs in six games. He died in 2010 aged 87.
