The rain has just got too heavy there and so the Umpires have decided to bring the players off.

Still need to get another 3 overs in to make the game official. Will let you know when anything changes!

Match State: Delay - Rain

4:40pm Sadly the rain has kept falling over the last 20 minutes. It's not actually that heavy, just doesn't look like it wants to stop any time soon! The groundstaff are just starting to bring the sheets out to cover the square.

Looking at the radar, it might take a while for the rain to blow through. We still only need to get another three overs in to have an official game.

We still have the best part of two hours to get back out there and bowl them. If the Reds don't lose any more wickets, they will need to be on 97 to win the game.

5:20pm The bad news is that it's still raining out there, it's not heavy, the groundstaff are still out in the middle standing next to the covers. Players are milling around the ground as well.

The rain just needs to stop! If it does it won't take long for the players to get back out there again.

The Umpires have confirmed that to fit the three overs in to get to 20, we have to get going again by 6:51pm. That's still 90 minutes away. Keep your fingers-crossed...

6:00pm It's still raining. Not much else to add on that I'm afraid....

6:10pm The Umpires have been out and had a look at the ground. If the covers aren't off by 6:25pm, then the ground isn't going to be able to dry in time.

6:40pm It's bad news I'm afraid. The rain had stopped but there isn't any chance that the ground is going to be able to dry in the time that we have left. Game Abandoned!

All they needed was another 10 minutes before the rain came, sadly it wasn't to be. Both teams pick up 2 points and stay in the lower half of the table.

The Interpro's take a break for a couple of weeks as Ireland travel to the Netherlands to play some important ODI Super Leagues games.

Thanks for following along with me today, this is Justin Smyth saying goodnight from Pembroke.

Foster to Moor, OUT

that's a brilliant catch from Rock. Moor gets drawn into playing at the ball, it takes the outside edge. Rock has to dive to his right and goes up with his wrong hand to catch the ball.
