2.00 pm The match has been abandoned, the most recent shower ensuring that there was no prospect of play. Ireland are next in action on the 24th August against Kenya, do join me Chris Busby then, when hopefully we will get some action. Cheers

1.50 pm It's raining again I'm afraid, and it's coming down pretty hard so there must be a possibility that this will be a complete washout. The Umpires will no doubt have another look shortly, I'll bring you news when I get it

12.40 pm It much more overcast now in Dublin and we have suffered a heavy shower since my last update. The covers are now firmly in place and a persistent mizzle has set in over the ground, it looks pretty bleak out there I'm afraid...

12.10 pm The inspection has been and gone and really I have no more news aside for the Umpires planning to look again at 1.00pm- it looks unlikely that we will start before 3pm. As always, you'll be the first to know if there is any change.

11.45 am The ground staff continue to work busily on the outfield and I am confident we will get some play if the rain stays away, it is much firmer out there now, however, the bowlers run-ups at one end still seems to be causing some concern.

11.15 am Happily it's still dry, and has been- save for one brief shower since my last update. The outfield is still pretty wet though, so there will be no play in the near future. More news after that 12.00pm inspection

10.10 am Good morning from Dublin! I'm afraid I have some bad news we are delayed yet again by Irish weather. It is actually very pleasant at the minute, with the sun beating down upon the ground, however heavy overnight rain has left the ground very soft underfoot, meaning there will be an inspection at 12.00pm, hopefully after which we will get some play- it will inevitably be a shortened game though. More news when I get it...
