Hefty blow! Such a clean striker of the ball! Seals the deal with a fantastic pull shot, he is such a joy to watch when on song! Gets a slow back of a length ball outside off, picks it up and hits it with aplomb over square leg for a six. Pretoria Capitals are into the final!

Bryce Parsons, Player of the Match: I feel really good. I needed it and to perform on a day like this means a lot. I just work hard in the nets. I've always been in and out of the team, so it's always about being ready. Luckily, I've played a lot of cricket here. It's nice to come home and bat on a wicket where I'm quite accustomed to. I thought I knew what I was getting myself into. I mean, Dewald makes batting look easy - play as few dot balls as possible - and we knew nine or ten an over was going to be easy if we stayed around. Always considered myself as an all-rounder. I mean, if Lungi didn't get injured, I wouldn't have bowled (hoping to bowl in the final)
It turned into a cakewalk towards the end. Sunrisers got a decent total on the pitch and made some recovery after sedate middle overs but 170 didn't prove to be an imposing score on a surface that offered good value for shots. Bryce Parsons backed up his superb bowling performance with the bat as well, scoring a pivotal half-century to break the back of the chase. The night also belonged to Dewald Brevis, who remained unbeaten on 75, consuming just 38 deliveries and delivering the sucker punch towards the end. He hit four fours and seven sixes, striking at an astonishing 197.36 and ensuring there were no hiccups. The bowling from Sunrisers wasn't incisive enough and they looked a bit off-colour as a unit. Stubbs could have marshalled his troops better and tried to use his ace bowlers to break partnerships. Jansen was somewhat economical but wicketless, Nortje didn't make many inroads and the others leaked plenty. It was certainly not a 170 pitch. Sunrisers will get another opportunity but will need significant improvement if they are to make it to their fourth final
Mic Roch: "Great catch for the second six in the last over - definitely saw shades of Gayle there"
Lassana Puka: "Parson's wicket would've set us up for a nervy finish.. if only Brevis wasn't around!"
Mathi: "Dewald Brevis has matured a lot, he is now building the innings and hits the ball whenever needed the most...."
Gaeb Onners: "Brevis looks uncharacteristically assured these last few games. Bodes well for SA in the upcoming world cup."
Shades of Gayle in that shot! It's like a method actor, hits the low full-toss on middle leisurely over cow corner for a six, immaculate timing and placement!
Bowls it full and it swirls away from the tramline on off
Over the wicket, low full-toss outside off, clubbed over his head for a six, quickly putting the game to bed, not leaving anything to chance
Near yorker slanted across off, gets on front foot and drives it away to short cover
Flips it on a length and bowls it well outside leg-stump, wide signaled
Done his job, gives a glimmer of hope to Sunrisers. Got too far across his stumps in a bid to ramp it away, You Miss, I hit! Clatters leg-stump and the zingers are lit up! Nevertheless, a stupendous outing, tried a risky shot but that's the way he plays: high-risk, high reward
Hits a foolish length on off, whippy pull to deep midwicket for a run, hit hard
on a good length and gets it to curl across off, tries to drive and gets beaten on the outside edge, got marked lateral movement across off
Bowls a gem of a yorker in the quiet zone at middle, does well to adjust and jams his bat down quickly to keep it out
Starts the over with a bang! It was in the slot and he makes full use of it. Gets a shorter delivery with room to free his arms, unleashes a cracking inside-out drive over extra cover, one bounce and crashes onto the advertising hoardings. Lots of fine talent seen this season
Lands it full and wicket-to-wicket, full face of the bat and driven down the carpet to long-off for a run
Dug in short just outside off, that's a proper wallop! He carts it with a swivel and clears the fence at backward square! What an authoritative, nimble-footed, brave and match-winning half-century! Takes on the short ball and times it impeccably
pulls his length back, slackens his pace and keeps it around the line off, pulled to deep midwicket's right
Another searing yorker into his toes, off the toes towards square leg, scampers back for a brace
In the blockhole at middle-stump, pushed to long-off for a single
Over the wicket, fuller in length around off-stump, opens the face and laces it out to short cover
Overcompensates, tries to outfox him with a quick delivery outside off, he knocks him downtown over his head for a 6, hurtling towards the target, time for the final strategic break
Slower and fuller outside off, takes the aerial route and gets underneath, placed perfectly into the gap at long-off, two fielders were running into each other and Jansen and Stubbs run full-throttle towards each other, Stubbs jumping off to avoid a collision, slipping away...brings up his fifty in a crucial affair, worthy of a player of the match award for sure
Around, low wide full-toss, pushed to cover
