9:42 pm So the Scorchers romp home by 34 runs after Mitchell Marsh's career-best knock, an unbeaten 93 off 41 balls. Ben Laughlin took the brunt of it, conceding 1 for 60 in his four overs, the joint-most expensive figures in BBL history. The Scorchers pull themselves level with the Heat on the BBL points table at eight points, though the Heat remain fractionally ahead on net run rate. That's all from me for tonight. I'm Peter Della Penna. Come back for more BBL coverage tomorrow with another doubleheader on tap. Take care!

Jhye Richardson to Pattinson, 1 run, OUT

slower ball on a length on fourth stump, lofts this drive over cover. David relays this sharply to the keeper, casual jog back for the second as it doesn't look like Pattinson thought a throw was coming to the keeper's end and he's out by four feet. If he was busting it the whole way he'd have made it but it's not going to matter either way in the final result.
