Impressive. Professional. Thumping win. And Zimbabwe have beaten India in successive ODIs for the first time ever. And Suresh Raina had said on the eve of the tour that "team had no weakness". Oh well...!
Avi: "It looks that In all the captaincy tension, Raina forget the difference in strength and weakness... i think he meant to say "Team has no strength".. :D"
This is Zimbabwe's third biggest in terms of balls remaining, excluding wins against minnows. \
Jambe: "With all due respect to all other comments, i don't think India lost because they are a weaker side. remember how the same team easily swept Sri lanka aside not many days ago. Credit should go to Zimbabwe today because, as the commentary below says, they showed up, were professional and clinical in their play today."

Suresh Raina: "We didn't bat well. We should have probably scored 260-270.. they bowled well. We are not getting a good partnerships from the openers. We have to learn from it. They [the openers] didn't get runs in last two games. Over all we haven't batted well. Sri Lanka are a good side. Let's hope we play well."
"Elton Chigumbura:" It's a good comeback after the last game. Our bowlers bowled well, esp Blignaut. 10 overs for around 22 runs was outstanding. It was just a matter of opening partnership after that which they gave. All the rest of the bowlers bowled well. We wanted to get a good foundation and it was going to be easy to go after the bonus point after that."
Man of the Match is Brendon Taylor: "I am very happy with this performance after our dismal effort against Sri lanka. Batting with Hamilton, I am always relaxed. He is a powerful hitter. For some reason I was ahead of him today! Consistency has been my biggest problem. If I can get another good knock, I would be happy."
That's it from us. Thanks for logging on.
