That's it from the first game of the day. Another match not too far away so join us for that. Till next time, ciao.

6.30pm Great, combined team bowling effort from Bangladesh to notch the points on the board. A spirited Netherlands chase falls short. 153 was always going to be a tough chase with the two-paced surface and against a quality bowling line-up. The bowlers chipped away regularly and ensured the new batsmen struggled with some tight bowling. Plenty of contributions from the batsmen but no one was able to carry on. Not quite attractive cricket, but scrappy wins are still wins and Bangladesh will gleefully accept it.

Tamim Iqbal is the Man of the Match: "After playing a few domestic T20 leagues, the confidence has come back. I've been talking to my coaches and been calm in the middle. They bowled a decent line and length, the wicket wasn't the easiest. I thought we were 15 runs short. We came back from summer, and this has been different. It feels like you have a breathing problem here."

Peter Borren: "Right in the end of our bowling and batting innings, it got away from us. We wanted to be in that position towards the end. Van Meekeren showed good character to come back from that drop and showed the length to bowl."

Mashrafe Mortaza: "They were in a good situation after 10 overs, we got back to back wickets which was the turning point. Last over is always difficult to bowl but the way Taskin was bowling, I was pretty confident that he would do it."

Taskin to van Beek, 1 run

full outside off, driven to cover and Bangladesh complete an eight-run win.

Taskin to Seelaar, 1 leg bye

nope, and that should be the match. Seelaar backs away looking for the ramp but gets hit on the pad. A leg bye will not be enough for Netherlands

Boundary?

19.4
1
Taskin to van Beek, 1 run

that was certainly right there for the big hit but van Beek cannot connect cleanly. Heaved to deep midwicket for a run

19.3
2
Taskin to van Beek, 2 runs

full again on middle, pushed down to long-on for a couple. Not quite a yorker and therefore partly in the arc for the big hit but it is a good length to the new man.

1W
Taskin to Bukhari, 1 run, OUT

lovely yorker. Swiped away to long-on and Seelaar calls him through for the second but Bukhari labours through for the second and is run-out by a mile. Good fielding by the fielder got there quickly and released

oh. In the slot for the big hit but Bukhari is unable to get under it, drives towards long-on for a couple though

17 off the last. An early six would set the cat off. Taskin.

Yashi: "Last over is going to be the difference between the two teams. Netherlands conceded 16 I guess in the final over"

Al-Amin to Seelaar, FOUR runs

that will be four. Superb execution. Premeditated the stroke and got down early. Gets the full delivery and paddles it over short fine leg for a vital boundary

Al-Amin to Bukhari, 1 run

another yorker on middle and off, Bukhari jams it out for one

wide called. Pressure on Al-Amin. Mortaza runs to his bowler, to calm him down. Looking for the yorker outside off

18.3

Al-Amin to Bukhari, SIX runs

massive from Bukhari. He is pumped, fist-pumping. Runs to the pitch of the ball and Bukhari smashes it over long-on for a massive six.

Al-Amin to Bukhari, FOUR runs

edged and four. Another legcutter outside off, Bukhari gets a thick edge off the attempted cut which just evades Rahim's gloves.

JamesG: "Dutch need a Dhoni now." -- Here is Bukhari.

Al-Amin to Cooper, OUT

taken and that could be the game. A slower legcutter on middle, Cooper backs away and lobs the reverse paddle to short third man who runs around to complete an easy catch.

superb stuff from Taskin. Six singles off the over and in all honesty, nothing else the batsmen could do. Another near-perfect yorker and Cooper forces it to cover

another well-executed yorker. Seelaar shuffles across, trying to flick but misses. Another leg bye.

lovely yorker on leg, off the boot and they scamper just one.

This is it. Cooper on strike. Netherlands need boundaries. Cooper's wicket should do it for Ban
