8.5 to J Botha, pushes away from the body, the length ball angled across doesn't deviate as the ball takes a faint nick through to the wicketkeeper. Poor stroke, and he's on his way back. He never looked comfortable with the extra bounce. 48/4 14.5 to MJ Lumb, right into the block hole, he gets underneath it but can only hit the flat hit to the long-on fielder. Excellent catch, the bat turned in his hand and it just took the power off the stroke. He survived in the last over, but can't cash in.. 82/5

1.4 to EJM Cowan, the ball keeps low and they have an early strike. Back of length delivery on off, looked like it hit the crack, the ball scoots low and Cown was nowhere near it. Willey's into it straightaway. Cowan can't believe what he's just seen. Stares at the surface and then starts to make the long walk back. 7/1 5.2 to NJ Maddinson, dropped catch the ball before, this time there's a wicket. Maddinson check-drives a slower ball to the extra cover fielder. Willey is pumped.. 33/2 18.3 to SA Abbott, swings but can only toe-end the lofted hit to Agar at long-on. Was in the slot but he ended up slicing it, got too much elevation, not much distance and Agar takes one of the simpler catches of the day.. 104/7

6.3 to JC Silk, got him! Once again the ball slides across the batsman who looks to glide that over the slip cordon, wasn't able to ride the bounce properly and can only get a bit of glove on the way through to the wicketkeeper.. 36/3
4 | 0 | 21 | 2 | 5.25 | 8 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
17.3 to BJ Dwarshuis, slower delivery this time, bowls it full and straight, he swung way too early, only connected with thin air as the ball dips on him to hit off stump. The batsman was looking towards midwicket as he looked to make contact.. 100/6 19.1 to RGL Carters, as easy as they come. This was a slower delivery outside off, Carters looked to swing across the line, only got a thick edge, the third man fielder settled underneath that one and took it quite easily.. 107/8

9.2 to M Klinger, and there's the wicket, finally. Nothing ball really, too short and angling down leg, Klinger looks to use the pace to pull, was just tucked for room, didn't get enough bat on it as the fine leg fielder took a straightforward catch. So, it can't be a second consecutive 10-wicket win for the Scorchers. They're still on top, ahead by miles. 65/1 |
