What an amazing day to finish the BBL season. The Heat beat the Scorchers earlier to make the finals.

And now the Renegades have beaten the Hurricanes to end Hobart's season.

If the Stars beat the Sixers and claim the Bash Boost point they will play finals. If they fail to claim all four points the Strikers will play the Heat in the Eliminator. The Sixers need just one point, the Bash Boost point, to finish on top and host the Scorchers in the qualifier. Join our coverage for the Stars and Sixers from the MCG.

The Renegades win and the Hurricanes miss out on the finals! The Stars are still alive in the next game. The Hurricanes will be kicking themselves. They needed 82 off 60 with 8 wickets in hand and completely disintegrated. Zak Evans was sensational picking up 5 for 33. Imad bowled beautifully as well.

Zak Evans is Player of the Match for his superb performance with the ball.

Ramki: "Zak Evans a young star in the making. 5 wickets and 2 incredible catches. Surely the MoM for me."

Harry: "Sensational spell by Evans, taking 5 in the last game of the season in a brilliant defending effort!"

Mustafa Moudi: "Really unbelievable that HH has failed to make it to the Finals after such a Great Start in the Tournament !!"
