4.40 pm Yorkshire win their first qualifying game, they have their second one tomorrow. The cricket wasn't of the highest standard - several wides, dropped catches and fumbles in the field - but it boiled down to a tight finish, especially after David Miller had retired hurt after getting hit on the face by a short ball from Umar Gul. However, he returned at the fall of the fifth wicket, with 18 needed off 12, and smashed three successive deliveries to the boundary to seal the game.
Adil Rashid is the Man of the Match. He took 1 for 25 in three overs and scored an unbeaten 36 off 30 balls, holding the Yorkshire chase together after two wickets had fallen off successive balls and Miller had retired hurt.
There's another game coming up at Wanderers, between Sialkot Stallions and Auckland Aces. Join us for that one. Cheers.
