Full commentary

11.23pm That's the end of a gripping week in Karachi. The series is all square, and that was a magnificent, compelling contest. From Miller, Vish and Binoy, good night!

11.18pm Haris Rauf has been speaking in Urdu at the presentation. The gist is that he knew Dawson was the key, get him out and the tail could follow. And that the team had to embrace the pressure.

Moeen Ali: "Amazing game of cricket, crowd were electric for all four games here. We felt like we should have chased that down, disappointed that we didn't. Daws had a brilliant game, sad for him he couldn't get us over the line, but these things happen. Pressure happens, and they bowled really well."

Babar Azam is up now. He admits they were 10-15 runs short, and that he wants to keep his middle-order flexible. Rauf is our key bowler, he adds, and he's getting better day by day.

11.08pm Dr. Amjad: "I am searching for the person who said "Pakistan is no longer Unpredictable"" Yes indeed...

nabeel: "Pakistan why are you an enemy of our nails either you finish them once and for all or let them grow"

Kalpit: "Have I been in dream, or what I have just seen ? I was offline by the time england required 7 off 10. Now, Pakistan have won the match. Truly unpredictable Pakistan Cricket." You and most of the crowd at Karachi, by the sounds of it!

Bilal: "Pakistan had to get every single wicket to earn this win. Tells you a lot about the depth and quality of this English side. A match to remember for years !"

11.01pm What a preposterous finish! The Karachi leg of the tour is done, in one of the most extraordinary climaxes imaginable! Mohammad Hasnain went from hero to zero, Liam Dawson all but burgled the contest, only for Haris Rauf and Mohammad Wasim to close out a thriller! And somehow, despite a spluttering batting display which didn't catch light until Asif Ali's two sixes in three balls at the death, they have defended 167.

The Win Probability for England when Liam Dawson got out was 97.39 % (It was 22.54 % when David Willey got out). Gosh. Pakistan have out-Pakistaned themselves tonight!

Dhananjay: "An instant classic. The people complaining about a 7 match series are looking foolish now. Everything left to play for."

Mohammad Wasim to Topley, OUT

run out! Topley gets into line again, pushes to the on-side, this time they have to try to get him off-strike, but the under-arm shy was true! Masood alert at mid-on, hurtling in and beating the floundering batter by a good two feet. Pakistan have levelled it at 2-2!

zings past the bat! Rashid can't get the single to keep the strike. Topley will need to be England's hero!

Crucially, Rashid is back on strike

Haris Rauf to Topley, 1 leg bye

digs out the yorker, or does he?! It's going to DRS for the hat-trick ball! The umpire says no, but Rauf is convinced! Inswinging into the boot, there's a clear gap, but is it missing leg? Yes, it is! That ball was timed at 96mph/155kph. Woof!

W
Haris Rauf to Stone, OUT

bowled him first ball! Rauf attacks the top of off, fast and furious and Stone is stone-dead on debut! Pakistan are taking the scenic route, but they are favourites once again!

Haris Rauf to Dawson, OUT

bouncer, holes out to midwicket! It's all up for grabs now! Dawson tried to steer his pull rather than fling everything he had at it, and pays the price with a simple lob. Cripes!

better ball, jagging back off the seam, and Dawson defends on the front foot with all the time in the world

Mohammad Hasnain to Dawson, FOUR runs

on the toes, square leg is up! Incredible from Dawson, a wristy whip off the toes, behind square. Hasnain had 2 for 16 in three overs five deliveries ago!

Suddenly it's less than a run a ball!

Haris Rauf to Willey, OUT

yorker! That's stunning, fast, full, round the wicket, crashing into middle! Willey did his bit to keep England in touch, but that might well be that!

Fine third man comes in
