Full, straight, fast and deadly. That's the finish you want from a fast bowler when he's bowling to a regulation No. 11. Anderson unveils the leg-stump yorker and Munaf has no answer. The timber is rattled and it's all over as England take this game by 42 runs
England vs India, 3rd ODI at Birmingham, Aug 27 2007 - Ball by Ball Commentary
It's a comprehensive win for England. After a solid batting performance they came up with a spirited bowling effort. Aside from half-centuries from Ganguly and Dravid and 45 from Yuvraj, there was little to show for.
In the end India were well short and England deserving winners.

flat and on the off, swiped away down to midwicket
very full and quite straight, played at and missed, off the pads to the leg side
short and a bit of width, cut down to point
on the off and quite flat, jammed down towards point
tossed up and on the off, Munaf has a heave and sends the ball towards midwicket
Finally one is on the stumps. Panesar tosses the ball up, it dips nicely, pitches and straightens after pitching. Zaheer has a blind swipe across the line, trying to deposit the ball out of the ground perhaps, but misses. The ball heads dead straight and pegs the off stump back. Just one wicket now and England will have a 2-1 lead in this series
full and straight, the attempted yorker, driven to midwicket for a single
Zaheer goes one better over RP. He makes clean contact with a short ball and picks up a boundary at midwicket
fullish and on the stumps, RP hits this one, a little bit, chipped down to mid-off for a single
slower ball this time, and still RP can't make contact ... another ball goes through to the keeper amid some series heaving of the bat but no contact
outside the off, pretty full, RP aims at midwicket and has a go but is nowhere near the ball
this is getting a bit embarrassing for India now ... another clueless heave and a miss as the ball goes through to the keeper
full and quite straight, scythed down back past the bowler to long-off
another play and a miss outside the off, it's only a matter of time here ...
slogged acoss to the on side for a couple more
slower through the air, a bit more height in the loop and subsequently more turn as RP slashes and missed outside off
short of a good length and outside the off, chopped away past cover for a single
tossed up and outside the off, aheer goes for a mighty heave and misses
short and a bit of width, Zaheer plays an expansive cut shot but it's just a single as the ball bounces down to the man on the ropes at point
