Tirumalasetti Suman

That 91-run stand came to Deccan's rescue when they badly needed it. A very crucial win for Deccan. Not all shots were attractive, there were inside edges amidst some clean hits but Deccan will be least bothered about that now. Nice to see a local player like Suman take the attention for a change. Stay with us for the presentation.

Kumble: "Initially the wicket was stopping a bit. Then it played better, I thought 184 was good to defend but our bowling let us down. The (last four slots) is getting tight. Kohli batted really well. Our bowlers need to look inside and find an answer."

Gilchrist: "A 90% improved performance, still 10% left to do. Suman was brilliant, Symo outstanding, out bowling needs to improve though. Team morale has been pretty good. Our next game is a must win game. When I got out, we thought we had paced the innings well, in this ground it is possible to push on towards the end. This will go a long way in putting us back on the path. It's been a challenge not having a base but fantastic crowd here tonight."

Suman is the Man of the Match: "My plan was to bat till the end. I had Symonds around. In this match Gilchrist told me many times to be patient. Great having legends around to help us."

That's it from here tonight. Thanks for your company. Join us tomorrow!
