12.15 am: That ends our coverage for today. It's been a great playoff week in the PSL so far. One match to go and it's a big one. A Karachi v Lahore final. Both teams in the final for the first time. Make sure you join us for that in a couple of days. Till then, it's goodnight from me, Saurabh, on behalf of Thilak as well.

Sohail Akhtar: It's a big achievement to reach the final. The belief that was there for five years has paid off. They have got a lot of youngsters too and it's great for them that we are in the final. Our three fast bowlers are all 140+ and all have variations. I believe we can defend any total. The momentum we have, we'll try to continue going that way for the final. Keep the basics in place, batting and bowling."

Shan Masood: Both games we had in our hands. We can only look at ourselves. The spinners were brilliant, especially Lala. We thought we could keep them below 160, but no excuses. When we batted we had a great start. 91 for 2 in 10 overs, we should have chased it. Hindsight's always 20-20, it was just that we didn't execute our skills at the death. (On the long layoff) I'm not going to make any excuses. It was the same for everyone. The thing was we had two opportunities (to make the final) and we had both games in our hand. Hopefully we'll learn from these mistakes and come back."

David Wiese is not the man of the match. Just kidding. Of course he is. Who else could it be. "We had a nice little partnership towards the end. The spinners bowled well but we knew if we could hang in there and put pressure on the bowlers at the death we could get a few away. It worked out. (on bowling) Fortunate to bat first so we could sum up the conditions quickly. Wasn't a pitch where we could blow them away so change of pace was important, but length was also important. I know it's going to be a massive game (the final). Would have been awesome to have a packed house but everyone in Lahore is going to be supporting us. I think we've got one more push in us."

Ben Dunk: Been a different year and a difficult year but really proud to get into the finals and putting some smiles back on people's faces. (Wiese) was huge with the ball as well. I was reasonably confident with 180 on board. The ball gripped a little bit more tonight than last night but our guys adjusted well. They bowled a lot of change-ups. Nice to have a rest day tomorrow. Been a long journey for this franchise to get to the final.

11.52 pm: It's going to be Karachi Kings vs Lahore Qalandars in the final - it's a match several people wanted as the title clash. David Wiese has been the magic man for Lahore today, blasted 48* off 21 to pull them to a formidable 182 when they looked like they would do well to get 160 at one point. Then bowled his cutters into the pitch and took pace off to take 3 for 27. Grabbed a super catch at the boundary for good measure. Adam Lyth gave Multan a great start but they fell away after that, with the pace duo of Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf working up serious pace. Shaheen had walked off after two overs but came back to bowl two trouble free overs. We've got an exciting final in store. Both teams are first-time finalists, so we're guaranteed a new winner. Multan must still wait for a first final appearance. They came very close in Qualifier 1, but lost in a Super Over.

Dilbar Hussain to Tahir, OUT

top edge taken at deep midwicket and it's all over. Swiped across the line, the ball went high in the air and was taken safely. Lahore Qalandars have marched into the PSL 2020 final.

Imran Tahir c Fakhar Zaman b Dilbar Hussain 1 (2b 0x4 0x6) SR: 50

26 needed off the last over by the last-wicket pair. Lahore can taste that first final. Dilbar to bowl.

Shaheen Shah Afridi to Tahir, 1 run

full on off, makes room and crashes it through cover-point. There is a fielder in the deep

Shaheen Shah Afridi to Junaid, 1 leg bye

won't get a hat-trick, but was close enough. Full ball swinging in hits him on the pads but it's clearly going down leg. Rolls off towards point for a leg-bye

Shaheen Shah Afridi to Mohammad Ilyas, OUT

brilliant catch by Ben Dunk behind the wicket. Snorter, short ball outside off that climbs on him. He can't get gloves out of the way, follows it with his hands and edges behind. Dunk has to tumble forward to grab it, and gets a glove underneath it, to scoop it up inches off the ground. The soft signal was not out but they've gone upstairs and it's clear Dunk caught it cleanly.

Mohammad Ilyas c †Dunk b Shaheen Shah Afridi 9 (8b 1x4 0x6) SR: 112.5
Shaheen Shah Afridi to Khushdil, OUT

caught at deep midwicket - is that the match? Shaheen kept it full, Khushdil can't get properly underneath the ball and ends up with more height than distance. The calm hand of Hafeez aren't spilling that. End of a fine hand by Khushdil, but he was always fighting an uphill battle.

Khushdil Shah c Mohammad Hafeez b Shaheen Shah Afridi 30 (19b 2x4 2x6) SR: 157.89
Shaheen Shah Afridi to Mohammad Ilyas, 1 run

yorker on off stump, bunted back to the bowler and they sprint for the single. Shaheen runs down, gathers the ball and lets loose at the stumps at the bowler's end. misses the run out. Would have been miles out.

Shaheen Shah Afridi to Mohammad Ilyas, FOUR runs

that's run away for four and Shaheen is shaking his head. Full toss outside off, and he just pushed at it, but ended up placing it perfectly backward of point. No fielder there!

33 needed off 12. Dinesh Karthik territory now. Khusdhil is batting on 30 off 18. Would have been out for 9 off 10 if Dilbar hadn't over-stepped.

super shot. He was expecting the full one outside off, stays still and blasts it straight, over mid-off's head and into the boundary

Haris Rauf to Mohammad Ilyas, 1 run

fuller on off, squirts it towards point and they take a single. Samit Patel swooping in from point can't gather cleanly

Haris Rauf to Khushdil, 1 run

keeps it yorker length on a fifth stump, and he has to reach for it a bit having backed away a touch. Toe-ends it to mid-off

Haris Rauf to Khushdil, SIX runs

bang. Khushdil living up to his reputation as a big-hitter. Full on the stumps, he clears his front leg and swing through the line to deposit this over wide long-on

Haris Rauf to Mohammad Ilyas, 1 run

full on leg stump, nudges it to midwicket while on the back foot and off balance, takes off for a single. Dives to make it but a direct hit would have had him in trouble

Haris Rauf to Khushdil, 1 run

keeps it full and wide outside off, Khushdil goes down on on knee to carve it away but there is a square third man who will field it

Haris Rauf to Khushdil, 1 wide

too wide outside off, targetting that tramline but just beyond it. Wide ball

48 needed off 18. Andre Russell territory. Haris Rauf to finish his quota.

length outside off, he waits for it and cuts it nicely through point. Takes only a single to keep strike. Second would have been risky anyway

Dilbar Hussain to Khushdil, 2 runs

giving himself room but the bowler follows him with a back of length slower ball. Slapped to deep midwicket, no timing on that - but that allows them to hare back for the second

Dilbar Hussain to Khushdil, no run

better length, pulled it back a fraction and got the ball to lift nicely while going across him. Another big heave but he can't connect

Dilbar Hussain to Khushdil, SIX runs

what do we have here? He frees his arms to a fuller one outside off and slams it high and handsome over long-on.

Dilbar Hussain to Mohammad Ilyas, 1 run

has a big thrash at this length ball outside off and gets a thick outside edge to third man

Dilbar Hussain to Khushdil, (no ball)

caught at square leg. They are tumbling quickly. Back of a length and he gets it low on the end of the bat as it swirls high. Dunk calls for it but Hafeez settles under it. Wait a minute, he's overstepped by an inch, so that's a no-ball. Khushdil gets a life. And there's a free hit coming up to Ilyas.

Dilbar Hussain to Khushdil, no run

swing and a miss. Full ball angling across outside off, goes down on one knee, can't connect

Atmazhar: ""Haris rauf has just completed 50 wickets in this year""

- Indeed he has, in T20s.
