Bihar inched their way to a steady 225/6 after winning the toss on Day
1 of their Super League match against Hyderabad at the Lal Bahadur
Shastri stadium in Hyderabad today.
After a none too happy start when they lost three wickets for 30,
Rajiv Kumar (85; 204 balls) and captain Sunil Kumar (80; 156 balls)
frustrated Hyderabad with a 153 run 4th wicket stand. The hosts
rebounded by taking three wickets for 42 to regain the
initiative. Wicketkeeper Youraj Singh had a good day in the field
snapping up three catches and also throwing out Rajiv Kumar.
