TOTAL52.3 Ov (RR: 3.86, 251 Mins)203
Fall of wickets: 1-26 (Alastair Cook, 11.2 ov), 2-27 (Michael Vaughan, 12.5 ov), 3-62 (Andrew Strauss, 21.4 ov), 4-106 (Kevin Pietersen, 28.2 ov), 5-123 (Tim Ambrose, 33.5 ov), 6-150 (Ian Bell, 38.5 ov), 7-177 (Andrew Flintoff, 44.2 ov), 8-181 (Stuart Broad, 45.2 ov), 9-186 (Monty Panesar, 47.6 ov), 10-203 (Darren Pattinson, 52.3 ov)
12.5 to MP Vaughan, full, edged and gone! Vaughan falls to his nemesis for the second time in the series, and now South Africa are fully in control. Just enough bounce and movement to take a thick edge, and Graeme Smith at first slip swoops to complete a comfortable catch. 27/2
28.2 to KP Pietersen, got him now! Steyn punches hard, delighted, after finding a better length outside off, Pietersen flashes firmly away from the body and the thick edge goes through. 106/4
44.2 to A Flintoff, wide and loose, and Flintoff has a flat-footed swipe that flies through to Boucher! An anticlimactic end - it wasn't the best ball that Freddie's faced all day, and he knows it. That had runs all over it, but his feet didn't respond to the invitation. 177/7
52.3 to DJ Pattinson, this time he does get the edge! Good bowling from Steyn, hooping the ball around the outside edge and Boucher swoops to claim his fifth catch of an excellent innings. 203/10
33.5 to TR Ambrose, round the wicket and gets the dismissal, forced across him, Ambrose pushes at it, takes the edge and Boucher takes yet another chance, another straightforward too. 123/5
11.2 to AN Cook, massive appeal and it's given! Misdirected down the leg side, Boucher dives across to leg, and South Africa go up in unison. Bowden takes his time, understandably, but up goes the crooked finger! Replays don't appear to be entirely in support of the decision - the ball clearly clips the thigh-pad on the way through. 26/1
21.4 to AJ Strauss, got him now! A great delivery from Morkel, round the wicket, finds some lift and Strauss fends on the back foot, slightly away from his body and the meaty edge goes through and is pouched without trouble. 62/3
45.2 to SCJ Broad, driven with hard hands, and expertly plucked high at third slip. Well, he had to try something, but he picked the wrong ball to try it, and now England are really in trouble. As opposed to mostly in trouble. 181/8
47.6 to MS Panesar, he's on his way now! Outside off, a fraction short, and de Villiers makes no mistake at all. 186/9
38.5 to IR Bell, oh dear oh dear, he was looking a million dollars, but he's now dragged onto his middle stump! A bit of action on the ball from Kallis, negating the swing, and Bell pushed hard with bat away from pad, and off he goes. 150/6

TOTAL176.2 Ov (RR: 2.96, 743 Mins)522
Fall of wickets: 1-51 (Neil McKenzie, 15.4 ov), 2-69 (Graeme Smith, 20.5 ov), 3-76 (Jacques Kallis, 23.5 ov), 4-143 (Hashim Amla, 43.5 ov), 5-355 (Ashwell Prince, 118.6 ov), 6-422 (Mark Boucher, 145.6 ov), 7-427 (Morne Morkel, 148.5 ov), 8-511 (AB de Villiers, 171.5 ov), 9-511 (Paul Harris, 172.1 ov), 10-522 (Makhaya Ntini, 176.2 ov)
15.4 to ND McKenzie, got him! Flintoff takes the catch, a good one, low at second slip, the batsman squares up behinds it. 51/1
23.5 to JH Kallis, done him, a big wicket there, Kallis chops back down on to his stumps, looking to almost cut it down. 76/3
145.6 to MV Boucher, got him! Justice for Anderson, who has been utterly luckless for two days. Short and there for the pull, it didn't get up at all, and Boucher under-edges onto his stumps. An unconvincing innings comes to an end, but he's done his job in grinding England further into submission. 422/6
43.5 to HM Amla, Pattinson's got his first wicket! He bowls a full toss which angles into Amla, he misses the flick and gets hit on the pad in front of leg stump, England roar in unison and Harper raises the finger after much consideration, replays show the ball sliding past leg stump but Pattinson is thrilled with his maiden wicket. 143/4
118.6 to AG Prince, and there it is! Lovely delivery from Pattinson, shaping into the left-hander, pitching and nibbling away, and taking a thin edge. His second Test scalp, and very timely. 355/5
20.5 to GC Smith, gone! Flintoff strikes and immediately points his index fingers to the sky - having come round the wicket, Smith gets on the back foot and sends a thick edge through to first slip where Strauss takes a good catch. 69/2
171.5 to AB de Villiers, wow, what a catch! Flintoff strikes at first slip with an absolutely stunning one-handed pouch. Full length from Broad, de Villiers drove with hard hands, and a thick edge bisected the gap between the keeper and a wide first slip. So Flintoff stuck out his left mitt, and wrapped his fingers around it!. 511/8
148.5 to M Morkel, Panesar strikes. Ripped it right back in to him, Morkel leaves a gap as he slashes at air, looking for the cover drive and the bails plink off. 427/7
172.1 to PL Harris, it's two in three balls and the wheels are coming off the South African innings ... err ... sort of. Another big mow from Harris, but this time he gets a top-edge and Anderson at mid-on jogs round to gobble the opportunity. 511/9
176.2 to M Ntini, a little wider, and a little more tempting, Ntini swings like a hungry man swiping a loaf, and Pietersen at point takes a dollied top-edge. 522/10

TOTAL107 Ov (RR: 3.05, 486 Mins)327
Fall of wickets: 1-3 (Andrew Strauss, 3.5 ov), 2-50 (Michael Vaughan, 22.4 ov), 3-109 (James Anderson, 46.4 ov), 4-123 (Kevin Pietersen, 47.2 ov), 5-140 (Ian Bell, 54.6 ov), 6-152 (Alastair Cook, 59.3 ov), 7-220 (Tim Ambrose, 86.5 ov), 8-238 (Andrew Flintoff, 89.5 ov), 9-266 (Monty Panesar, 94.3 ov), 10-327 (Darren Pattinson, 106.6 ov)
46.4 to JM Anderson, but he has to go this time, Umpire Bowden dispensing the crooked finger as Anderon's beaten for pace by a full one which would have gone on to hit middle. 109/3
86.5 to TR Ambrose, shorter, in the slot for the cut, and Steyn strikes! Ambrose was drawn into the shot, but the extra bounce of the new ball did for him, and Boucher claims his ninth of the match. 220/7
94.3 to MS Panesar, full and straight and Panesar goes now, completely castled, the ball hitting the top of off stump. 266/9
3.5 to AJ Strauss, the change of angle pays immediate dividends! Short but viciously bending late, taking the fenced defensive edge, a combination of glove and bat handle, and flying through to Boucher!. 3/1
22.4 to MP Vaughan, got him! Vaughan falls just before stumps, squared up on the back foot and he sends through an edge, a tumbling Boucher making no mistake. 50/2
54.6 to IR Bell, shorter, wider but extra bounce, and AB de Villiers in the gully pulls off a screamer! Bell went for the cut, didn't get over it, and de Villiers dived forward and plucked a brilliant chance with one hand, going hard to his right. 140/5
89.5 to A Flintoff, driven, and gone! Outside off, and Flintoff was half-steering, half-smacking, and the upshot is a thick edge to Kallis at second slip. 238/8
106.6 to DJ Pattinson, bowled him now, rocking back middle and leg stumps with a full one that goes through Pattinson's gate, and the batsman is furious with himself. 327/10
47.2 to KP Pietersen, he's gone! Kallis has done it! Two wickets in two overs for South Africa and a great ball from Kallis, hits a good length, there's some swing away and that's a loose shot from Pietersen, a defensive push which he was trying to leave at the last second. 123/4
59.3 to AN Cook, and that will be game, set and match to South Africa! Cook loses concentration and attempts to clip Kallis through midwicket, but the ball straightens on him, takes the leading edge, and is plucked high above Hashim Amla's head at cover. 152/6
