13b to WCF Smeed, Holes out this time. An urgent launch through the line, gathered at mid-on, backpedalling to intercept. 23/1

86b to LS Livingstone, short, pulled high... straight to wide long-on! So ends a curious knock from Livingstone. Never at the races, but still powering on. Couldn't quite nail that one. 145/4 96b to MS Wade, heaved off the good length to deep midwicket! Wade gave it a good go, but the slower ball undid him. No timing and Cox completed a simple dipping take. 161/5 99b to CG Benjamin, tumbles across the crease for a ramp... straight to backward square! An inelegant departure, but actually that was a solid connection. Benjamin had to improvise with the ball fired way outside off, but couldn't get the elevation to beat Narine. 164/6

25b to MAH Hammond, well, you have to say that was coming. Hadn't looked remotely comfortable with conventional play, so reversed the stance and tried something more expansive. Backward point backpedals and swallows a simple chance. 41/2 69b to MM Ali, picks out deep midwicket! It's cost him a few runs, but there's the vital breakthrough! Moeen has another hack towards the short boundary but can't get the elevation to beat Curran on the edge of the rope. 110/3

4b to WG Jacks, fullish length ball skids on toward middle stump to beat Jacks stuck on the crease playing down the wrong line and hit on the back leg around the knee roll. Big lbw shout upheld. Jacks takes a long time before signaling for a review. This looked live like it was smashing middle and leg stump. Ball-tracking shows it was clipping the bails. Umpire's call is the verdict so the decision stays out.. 5/1 72b to JM Cox, yorker cleans up Cox! Seared in on middle stump, Cox tries to jam this out but can't get the bat down in time.. 99/4 73b to SW Billings, full on off stump, Billings walked across for a casual flick and misses. LBW shout upheld. Looked pretty good call live. Middle and leg stump were showing but it looked like he was hit in line with off. Billings calls for a review. He was hit well below the knee roll but had taken a full stride down the pitch. Lots of variables here. Ball-tracking shows he was hit in line with off stump and the ball was going to knock over the top of middle and leg stump. Invincibles lose a review. This is a classic one that would never have been given out 20 years ago because he was hit on the front foot striding a yard down the pitch, but umpires feel much more confident about giving out in the modern era with the use of technology indicating these balls actually are projected to hit the stumps.. 99/5

10b to RR Rossouw, bouncer on fourth stump, goes to pull and top-edges this into the leg side. It swirls around toward deep backward square where Smeed runs in off the rope covering 25 yards before sliding forward to latch on near the edge of the ring.. 11/2 87b to TK Curran, goes for wide yorker, Tom Curran slices this ankle high full toss flat in the air straight to deep backward point at head height. Fielder isn't really placed there as a catching position for a wide yorker but Helm lucks out to get a wicket off this ball.. 135/6 90b to SM Curran, Fullish length ball angled across Curran on seventh stump toward the wide guideline, goes to drive and a thin edge is held behind by Wade.. 136/7

42b to JJ Roy, short ball on fifth stump, goes to pull and top edges this swirling over deep backward square leg. Richardson circles around the boundary to settle under this a few yards in from the rope and takes a slightly nervy catch while trying to avoid a teammate in his eyeline coming over from deep midwicket.. 52/3

96b to ME Milnes, full on off, drives this in the air toward long-off, Richardson shuffles along the rope to hold on to an easy catch at chest height two yards inside the rope.. 145/8
