Full commentary

It has been three and half years since Samuels went past fifty, leave alone 100. And what a nice comeback into the big league. It was a dazzling knock, full of pleasing drives, imperious lofted shots, and dismissive pulls. But the win is not all about Samuels, much of the credit should go to the bowlers who had done the hard work earlier and restricted Pakistan to a below-par total. And then Samuels decided to impose himself.

Lovely comeback from Anjum. Slower deliv ery, on the stumps, almost had Samuels who somehow adjusted at the last minute, stopped his intended lofted drive, and pushed the delivery away to the off side
