Thunder claim inaugural WBBL title in tense finish

Sydney Thunder beat their crosstown rivals Sydney Sixers by three wickets to win the inaugural WBBL title, in a tense and scrappy game which came down to the last over

Sydney Thunder Women wins the inaugural Women's Big Bash League. They were cruising nicely towards the victory but at the business end they became a bit impatient and we saw a bit of chaotic batting, but ends up winning it by 3 wickets.

A wide throw from the running deepish midwicket ends Farrell safe back towards the non-striker's end. Then the extra cover tries to under-arms it as she came across to backup, misses the stumps and Farrell calls for another run.

fullish delivery outside off, gets a thickish edge as she tries to reaches for it, which went infront of third man. Reakes ran forward and throws it towards the keeper as Osborne tries to convert that to a couple. Found short as they check with tv umpire
