Australia`s tour of Sri Lanka to go on?

With Sri Lanka and Australia ironing out their differences in the World Cup final which was played on a friendly atmosphere,Mark Taylor and his men`s proposed tour of Sri Lanka later this year is likely to come off. The chances of Australians presence in Sri Lanka this summer looked remote after a controversial tour Down Under and Taylor and his men`s refusal to play their World Cup preliminary round match in Colombo. The Aussies who were last here at around the same period in 1992 will be involved in a series of three Tests and one-day internationals. A spokesman for the Australian Cricket Board said in Melbourne that the ACB will soon take a decision on their two-Test and three-match one day international tour of Sri Lanka which will be followed by the four-nation Singer World Series in Colombo.
