Bangladesh too strong for Ireland

Sunday's World Cup action takes place in Barbados again as Bangladesh and Ireland meet in a match which will mean nothing to the overall destination of the trophy but which still matters to both sides who exceeded expectations to get to this stage.
It's always hard to assess what is essentially a meaningless match in terms of the World Cup itself - a dead rubber if you like - but both teams will still be keen to impress.
Bangladesh definitely have the edge and bet365 make them 1/3 (1.33) favourites, while Ireland, still looking for their first win in the Super Eights, are 9/4 (3.25).
I would favour Bangladesh anyway, but even more so as Ireland played on Friday and will be a little tired by their efforts, even if the match with Australia did not exactly last long.
In this case, picking a top batsman on either side is even tougher than usual, due to the fact that the match does not really matter overall, but there could be some value in putting a few of the individual prices into a treble.
In beating South Africa at this stage, Bangladesh showed they really are a side on the up and as the better side you would expect them to attack.
That means they ought to have the better score after 10 overs, a 1/2 shot, while their openers would expect to outscore their Ireland counterparts, a 4/6 shot.
Put those two together with Bangladesh winning the match itself at 1/3 and you have a treble that would bring you odds of around 23/10, which is not too bad.
Cambers' Call:
Bangladesh to beat Ireland/score more after 10 overs/have better opening partnership 23/10 bet365
