Canada wishes to thank its many supporters and volunteers and the hard-working CCA 2001cricket sub-committee. We thank you for your patience and perseverance. We have not been able to provide concrete confirmation and acknowledgment of any possible roles for voulunteers, since even at this late stage, we do not have written re-confirmation that the ICC Trophy 2001 will be held in Canada. ICC has had its hands full with match-fixing and other issues!

To our cricket administrators, Provincial Associations, Leagues and Clubs we again apologize for not being able to formalize final agreements. We await the ICC Executive and the ICC Finance/Marketing direction and decision on critical hosting and organizational matters.

we hpe these will be resolved shortly to allow the Canadian Cricket Association to move forward to ensure a fine event in Canada in 2001. There are many areas that need action and decision now. We await the ICC for their input and direction. We are experiencing some difficulties. We are currently working ourselves through these matters. Please stay tuned for further word and/or developments. We appreciate your continued patience. We shall immediately inform you via this Website and by Press Release of any decisions on ICCT 2001 by the CCA Board of Directors as soon as that is finalized.
