Events of the last few days surrounding the death of Bob Woolmer has overshadowed things at the World Cup but the competition goes on and Saturday sees the two favourites, Australia and South Africa, going head to head in St Kitts.
Both teams have already qualified for the next stage but the beauty of the new format means that the match means more than just bragging rights, with the winner taking through points through to the Super 8s.
Australia may feel they have a point to prove after losing the No 1 ranking to South Africa and bet365 make them 4/7 (1.57) favourites to come out on top on Saturday.
The Aussies have had the better of their opponents of late in their meetings but South Africa look to be confident and playing well. There is a possibility that the death of Woolmer, their former coach, will have rocked some of their players, but if anything, that will probably inspire them to produce their best.
Ponting favourite again
Australia captain Ricky Ponting tops the betting to be his side's top runscorer, at 11/4, having already shown his form by making a century against Scotland.
Openers Adam Gilchrist and Matt Hayden are next at 7/2 and 4/1 respectively, while Michael Clarke is 11/2 and Andrew Symonds, who is set to return after injury, is 6/1. Brad Hodge is 13/2 and Michael Hussey 7/1.
For South Arica, their No 1 batsman Jacques Kallis is favourite at 3/1 but there is a host of in-form batsmen snapping at his heels. Herschelle Gibbs and captain Graeme Smith are both 4/1 while AB de Villiers is 9/2.
Leon Bosman is a 7/1 chance while Ashwell Prince and Mark Boucher are 8/1, with Justin Kemp 10/1.
