Leeward Islands stretched their first innings score to 377 on the second day of their match against Windward Islands at the National Cricket Stadium in Grenada. In response Windward Islands reached 171 for 4, thanks mainly to Craig Emmanuel, who scored 62. Windward Islands got off to the worst possible start, losing Devon Smith and Sergio Fedee for ducks. At 2 for 0 they were in deep trouble, but Emmanuel responded well, in the company of Alvin la Feuille (48) and shored up the innings.

Pockets of resistance from Jamaica spurred them on to 238 in response to Trinidad & Tobago's first innings score of 205 at Shaw Park, Scarborough, Tobago. They began the second day by wrapping up the Trinidad & Tobago innings on 205. Then, Wavell Hinds (46) and Xavier Marshall (45) got them off to a steady start, putting on 70 for the first wicket. But, they could build on the start, and lost wickets at regular intervals. Only David Bernard, with 44 at No. 6, resisted, and the innings was wrapped on 238, a slender lead of 35. Trinidad & Tobago then saw off five overs, scoring 21 for the loss of one wicket.
