The preliminary round of the ICC Champions Trophy concluded in Mumbai on Saturday with Sri Lanka's nine-wicket win over the West Indies.
Both sides had already qualified for the second round after winning their opening two matches but Sri Lanka's win means it tops the preliminary round group and so secures a place in Group B alongside New Zealand, Pakistan and South Africa; the defeat has consigned the West Indies to Group A, where they will line up with Australia, England and hosts India.
