ICC Cricket World Cup - practice and media conference arrangements for Monday 2 April

The following are the arrangements for the remaining eight teams on 2 April

The following are the arrangements for the remaining eight teams on 2 April:
  • In Antigua, Bangladesh and New Zealand go head to head at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, St John's. Play starts at 0930 and afterwards there will be media conferences involving both captains and the man of the match.
  • Also in Antigua, England will hold a training session at Antigua Recreation Ground, St John's from 0915. Afterwards, Kevin Pietersen will hold a media conference at the ground. Australia has opted not to train. Members of the media wishing to know the availability of players for interview should contact Australia media manager Philip Pope on +1784 593 9134.
  • In Guyana, Ireland and South Africa play each other on Tuesday and will both hold training sessions. Ireland will practise from 0900 until around 1100 at Guyana National Stadium, Providence, Georgetown and afterwards a player will hold a media conference. South Africa will train at the same venue from 1200 until approximately 1430. Beforehand coach Mickey Arthur will hold a media conference.
  • Also in Guyana, Sri Lanka will be traveling and has opted not to train and has no plans to hold a media conference. The West Indies has opted not to train and has no plans for a media conference.
