Sri Lanka may have taken the lead in the four-match one-day series with victory in match two but India have the class and there is every chance they can come from behind to win the series, starting by winning the third match, in Margao on Wednesday.
Kumar Sangakkara's fine innings set India a testing target at the weekend but had they not thrown it away late in their run-chase, the hosts would have had a comfortable victory.
Now of course, ifs and maybes are of no use to anyone and the fact is that Sri Lanka won the match fair and square.
Sri Lanka are a more than decent one-day side but to my mind, that just makes India a better bet for the third match in the series. Bet365 make them 4/7 (1.56) to win it and that's a good price. For those of you who want to back Sri Lanka, they are 5/4.
Sachin on top form
Sachin Tendulkar is hitting top form right at the right time for India and after being ousted by Rahul Dravid as favourite last time round, he's back in his rightful place for the third match.
Sachin Tendulkar is hitting top form right at the right time for India and after being ousted by Rahul Dravid as favourite last time round, he's back in his rightful place for the third match.
Bet365 actually make him joint favourite at 7/2 with Dravid and Sourav Ganguly, who continues to make the most of his recall to the side.
Robin Uthappa is 9/2, while Yuvraj Singh, who missed the last match through injury, is 11/2 and Virender Sehwag is 6/1.
Sangakkara is the favourite again to be top Sri Lanka batsman, at 3/1, just ahead of Sanath Jayasuriya, who has a great record against India, a 7/2 shot this time.
Upul Tharanga is 4/1, Mahela Jayawardene 5/1 and Marvan Atapattu 11/2.
