Having suffered a shock defeat in their opening match against Bangladesh, India have no margin for error when they take on Bermuda in Trinidad on Monday knowing defeat would send them home.
They did not play that badly against Bangladesh but they will nevertheless be looking for a big improvment, particularly from their batsmen, who, Sourav Ganguly and Yuvraj Singh apart, struggled.
Thankfully for them, they should find things pretty easy against Bermuda, even if Ireland's win over Pakistan proved that nothing should be totally taken for granted.
Bet365 make India 1/100 (1.01) for victory while the Bermudans are 40/1.
In the top batsmen markets, Ganguly leads the way for India at 15/8, having played nicely against Bangladesh.
Virender Sehwag, who is out of form, is still second favourite at 5/2, while Robin Uthappa is 11/4 and Sachin Tendulkar is next at 4/1, a price that looks big. Captain Rahul Dravid will also fancy his chances at 7/1.
