Holland collapsed after being in a relatively sound position at one stage of 55 for 1. Holland's overseas player, Western Australian batsman Michael Dighton, made just 11.
While a West Australian batsman failed for Holland, another succeeded in the downing of Denmark. Twenty year-old Marcus North, who debuted for WA last season, scored 69 not out from 51 deliveries to win the man-of-the-match award as the Durham recreational team raced to victory with five wickets down and eleven and a half overs to spare.
