Having chased down 337 for victory in stunning fashion, New Zealand clinched the series victory against Australia with one match still to go. But don't think they are done - the Black Caps will be chasing a whitewash when the final match in the series takes place in Hamilton on Tuesday.
There is nothing that New Zealand fans like better than beating Australia and the way they chased down such a big total can only increase their confidence, and they will take added delight in knocking the Aussies off the No 1 spot in the one-day rankings.
Ok, so the absence of Ricky Ponting, Adam Gilchrist, Andrew Symonds and Brett Lee has ripped a big hole in Australia's side, but New Zealand still deserve all the credit for getting the job done.
Having tipped New Zealand to win both the first two matches, I am hugely tempted to make it a hat-trick but that depends on the odds, so I'll update this when bet365 release their prices.
Please note that odds are correct at time of publication and are subject to change.
