The recent one-day series between Pakistan and India is to be rush-released on DVD later this month. It is destined to become one of the fastest-selling cricket DVDs ever made.
The DVD will be released by Fremantle Home Entertainment, and is the latest addition to their popular cricket range. The India v Australia Test series of 2000-01 is Fremantle's best-selling title to date, but Pakistan v India 2003-04 looks set to break all sales records.
For Indian fans, the highlights of the Pakistan v India one-day series DVD include the record-breaking first match at Karachi; Sachin Tendulkar's magnificent hundred in a losing cause under the lights at Rawalpindi; the Dravid-inspired run-chase in the fourth match at Lahore, and VVS Laxman's elegant century in the series decider.
There is also plenty for Pakistan fans to cheer - terrific wins at Rawalpindi and Peshawar, two brutal hundreds from Inzamam-ul-Haq, the express pace of Shoaib Ahktar and Mohammad Sami, and the emergence of Yasir Hameed.
The running time of the Pakistan v India one-day Series DVD is approximately 150 minutes, and it will be released on all-region (region 0) DVD in both PAL and NTSC formats.
Fremantle will also be releasing highlights of the Pakistan v India Test series in late April/early May.
