Watson was highly successful in T20 leagues around the world: winning the IPL in 2008 and 2018, the BBL in 2015-16, and the PSL in 2019.
Watson was the Player of the Tournament in the inaugural IPL season, with his team Rajasthan Royals winning the title.
He was Player of the Tournament again in 2013 and played for the Royals till 2015, before moving to the Royal Challengers Bangalore for the 2016 and 2017 seasons. His last three seasons were with the Chennai Super Kings, and he was the Player of the Final in their title triumph in 2018.
