South Africa begin their Super Eights campaign on Wednesday with an intriguing match against Sri Lanka, one of the most impressive sides in the group stage, with bet365 finding it difficult to split them in the betting.
South Africa are narrow favourites, thanks to their greater strength in depth on paper, at 4/5 while you can get even money on Sri Lanka making it four wins on the bounce.
Graeme Smith's side didn't do much wrong against Australia, they just came up against two in-form batsmen at the top of the order in Matt Hayden and Adam Gilchrist, who tore into Shaun Pollock and Makhaya Ntini.
Not many batsmen can do that and I wouldn't be surprised if those two bounce back in style in this match, particularly as Sri Lanka's batsmen are much flashier than Australia, which always gives bowlers a chance.
Jacques Kallis is the 10/3 favourite to be South Africa's top runscorer, with captain Smith just behind at 7/2. AB de Villiers, who looks in great nick, is 4/1, with Herschelle Gibbs 9/2. Leon Bosman is 7/1, Ashwell Prince 8/1 and Mark Boucher 17/2.
For Sri Lanka, Sanath Jayasuriya and Kumar Sangakkara are joint favourites at 7/2, with Upul Tharanga 4/1 and captain Mahela Jayawardene 9/2.
It's then a big gap to Marvan Atapattu at 13/2 and I'd expect the top score to come from one of those five.
However, I have a feeling South Africa may have the edge in this one, and 5/6 on them to make the better score after 10 overs seems a good price to me.
The one important thing to check before betting on this one is the weather as Guyana gets way more than its fair share of rain. The redevelopments to the ground are touch and go to be completed on time, so check the forecast before parting with your money.
Cambers' Call:
South Africa to beat Sri Lanka 4/5
South Africa to have better score after 10 overs
