Tickets selling fast for International

With only one day to go until The Rose Bowl hosts its first One Day International match, the ticket office has announced that sales are booming and a sellout crowd is expected. Over 6,500 spectators have already booked designated seats to play witness to Zimbabwe and South Africa make history when they come face to face on Thursday 10th July, which is part of the NatWest Series and to be televised by Sky TV.

Former Hampshire star Heath Streak will captain the Zimbabwe side, and will be looking to impress in front of his former colleagues.

"Just two and a half years after opening the ground we are very proud to be staging this exciting 50 over per side contest," says Nick Pike, managing director. "It will put The Rose Bowl in the international spotlight and is proof of the vision, hard work and enthusiasm that is making us one of the country's leading sports venues."

With allocated seating, advance purchase of tickets is advised. They cost £25 for adults and £12.50 for under sixteens and may be purchased over the telephone (ticket office 0870 243 0291), by e-mail (tickets@rosebowlplc.com), or in person (ticket office open Monday-Friday 9am-5pm). Park and ride facilities will be available from Junction 8 of the M27.
