Tickets still available for First Test Match versus Zimbabwe

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) today announced that tickets were still available for all five days of the 1st Cornhill Test between England and Zimbabwe at Lord's starting on Thursday, May 18th.

The ECB and MCC are encouraging cricket fans to 'walk-up' and purchase tickets from the ground at the North Gate on the day of the game.

Advance tickets can also be purchased in advance up until May 14th by calling a credit card hotline on 020 7432 1066. Prices for adults start at £18 with children under 16 entitled to half price reductions.

ECB Chief Executive Tim Lamb said: "Tickets to an international match at Lord's are traditionally difficult to get hold of and it's pleasing to know that the Test Match against the West Indies and the two One-Day international matches scheduled for Lord's later this summer are close to selling out.

"There are, however, still plenty of tickets available for next week's Zimbabwe Test match and we would urge the wider cricket public to take advantage of this opportunity to come along and enjoy the unique atmosphere of a major match at Lord's.

"This is Zimbabwe's first Test Match in this country and therefore a special occasion for both teams."
