There was no play in the rain-affected Worsley Cup clash between Rawtenstall and Haslingden last night.

And officials have agreed that, because of the state of the pitch and the weather forecast, there is no point trying for a resumption of the match until Thursday (6.30pm) at the earliest.

If play is not possible on Thursday then the game is due to be completed on Saturday (1.15pm).

Rawtenstall are 70-1 off 25 overs chasing 167 for victory in the final 25 overs.
