35.3 to SMA Priyanjan, Junaid knocks him over with a good length ball on the stumps, as Ashan, looking to play this one cheekily through fine leg with a paddle, ends up getting his off stump knocked back. The shot was never really on as his fine innings come to a rather abrupt end on 74. 165/5 47.6 to KDK Vithanage, full and on leg as Vithanage goes for the big hit over midwicket, but doesn't get enough on it as the ball carries to Maqsood at deep midwicket, who holds on to the chance. Pakistan now nine down and with still two overs to go. 225/9

1.4 to MDKJ Perera, a really rubbish ball from Gul slanting outside off as Kusal is tempted to have a go, but slams still straight to short cover, who takes a good catch. Looks like it was the Pakistan captain who took that sharp take. Sri Lanka lose their first wicket with just 15 on the board. Gul has simply been on a roll since returning to international cricket. 15/1 3.2 to TM Dilshan, Dilshan was definitely perturbed by the previous delivery as he decides to leave this one outside off, but this one is the inswinger, and comes back in just enough to knock back his off stump. Really tame way to go out as Sri Lanka are in a bit of bother at 22 for 2. 22/2 7.2 to LD Chandimal, Misbah takes another great catch, this time at short cover, as Chandimal unfurls a full-bloodied drive, in the air, straight at the Pakistan captain. Gul had set him up with the length, and Chandimal took the bait. Misbah actually plucked that one-handed, so it just gets better and better. Sri Lanka in trouble here at 36 for 3. 36/3

9.5 | 1 | 39 | 4 | 3.96 | 36 | 4 | 0 | 2 | 0 | |
36.6 to KMDN Kulasekara, ends up spooning this low full toss straight back to Ajmal, almost as if he was in a daze, as this half-hearted push is caught one-handed by Ajmal to bring a premature end to Kulasekera's innings. 170/6 44.1 to AD Mathews, fuller one which has Mathews caught on the back foot. This one looked plumb but Mathews wants the umpire to have a second look. After quite a while of deliberation, the third umpire confirms the on-field decision, and Mathews goes for a well-played 38. 210/7 44.2 to SMSM Senanayake, Ajmal simply on a roll as he bowls Senanayake first ball, with this one coming in from round the wicket and going through the gate left open by pad and bat. 210/8 48.5 to SL Malinga, once again going for the big swipe and this time Malinga gets an outside edge which Akmal does well to catch from behind.. 225/10

20.2 to Ahmed Shehzad, not sure what Shehzad was thinking there as he edges this one straight into the hands of first slip from this back of a length offering from Lakmal. Was set on 44 and there really was no need for this, as Senanayake does well to hold on to the chance. 115/2

5.1 to Sharjeel Khan, slower, back of a length ball, as Mathews gets a fantastic Christmas present, with this one bowling Sharjeel, who seemed to be playing the wrong line, as this one beats the edge on the way to the off stump. 31/1
