Third Test rescheduled

Lahore, Feb 19: The third cricket Test between Pakistan and Sri Lanka now will be played between from March 12 to 16 at the National Stadium, instead from March 13 to 17.

The decision was taken by the Pakistan Cricket Board ad hoc committee on Saturday. The match has been brought forward because of Eid-ul-Azha is likely to be celebrated on March 17.

The PCB in a Press release said: "The Eid-ul-Azha in Pakistan is likely to fall on March 17. When the itinerary of the Sri Lanka Teams' tour to Pakistan was finalised last year,Eid-ul-Azha was expected to be on March 18, a day followingthe 3rd Test match. However, since this day now was likely to fall on the last day of the 3rd Test match, this Test match has been rescheduledto be played from March 12 to 16 at the National Stadium in Karachi".
