Kent team for 2001

Kent County Cricket Club today announced that it has offered contracts for next season to Rob Ferley, Geraint Jones and Ben Trott.

In addition to the departure of Steve Marsh and Darren Scott, who have both recently announced their retirement from First Class Cricket, the Club will not be renewing contracts with Richard Clinton and James Watson.

All other members of this year's playing staff are either under contract for next season already or have been offered new contracts.

The decision with regard to Kent's overseas player for next season will be made once the international calendar for 2001 is finalised. The Club has been delighted with the success achieved by Rahul Dravid as its overseas player this year and very much hopes to be able to continue that relationship in 2001.
