Bob Woolmer, the Pakistan coach, has said that England may be vulnerable when they play Pakistan in their first series after the triumphant Ashes campaign.
"Mentally I'm wondering 'Can England get up again after such a fantastic effort?" Woolmer told BBC Sport. "That will be a telling point, because sometimes it's very hard when you've been on such a high for a long time. England will talk about creating an ethic where they can win all the time."
Woolmer added that playing an upbeat England team was the ideal motivation for Pakistan. "We will be playing a side that's just beaten Australia. It will be a great incentive for us."
Woolmer said that the recent earthquake that hit parts of Pakistan and Kashmir was `obviously a huge tragedy' and hoped that cricket would do its bit to alleviate the suffering. "The game must go on. The cricketing fraternity is really looking forward to the series. Quite frankly it will help people take their mind off what has been a terrible tragedy." He wants to organise a day of golf involving the England and Pakistan players in between the Test and one-day series, the proceeds of which will go towards the earthquake relief.
