Australia v West Indies, Champions Trophy, Group A, Johannesburg

26-Sep-2009
Ricky Ponting latched onto any width and was particularly strong against Kemar Roach, who lacked control and twice went for 17 off an over as Ponting let loose through the leg side.
After Australia slumped to 171 for 7, Mitchell Johnson slammed an unbeaten 73 from 47 balls with eight fours and three sixes. But it was a lucky innings, because Asad Rauf didn't hear a clear nick off Johnson's bat when he was on 8.
Andre Fletcher showed maturity and uncharacteristic restraint to build an excellent platform for West Indies chase, but threw his wicket away with a silly run-out in the 25th over.
