Wisden's review of the first ODI, Bangladesh v West Indies, 2012-13

15-Apr-2013
At Khulna, November 30, 2012. First one-day international: Bangladesh won by seven wickets. One-day international debuts: Abul Hasan, Anamul Haque, Mominul Haque, Sohag Gazi (Bangladesh).
West Indies struggled against a varied spin attack, and had to be rescued from 133 for 8 by Narine and Ravi Rampaul (25), who put on 57. Still, the target was not an imposing one, especially after Tamim Iqbal clouted 58 from 51 balls, and Bangladesh strolled home with almost ten overs to spare. Sohag Gazi's figures were the best by any offspinner in their first one-day international, and included the wickets of Gayle and Samuels in successive overs.
Man of the Match: Sohag Gazi
