PAKISTAN v NEW ZEALAND 1984-85

At Karachi, December 10, 11, 12, 14, 15

15-Apr-1986
At Karachi, December 10, 11, 12, 14, 15. Drawn. New Zealand batted well to make 426 in reply to Pakistan's 328 runs in the first innings, though the home side were handicapped by injuries to Abdul Qadir, struck on the foot while batting, and Mudassar, who was troubled by a sore neck. The New Zealanders then had Pakistan in their clutches with five second-innings wickets gone for only 130 before a match-saving stand of 178 for the sixth wicket between Wasim Raja and Salim Malik, the latter making his fifth Test century. New Zealand threatened to walk off the field after an appeal for caught behind against Miandad was denied, play being held up for several minutes.
