Australia A took the series 1-0 after they drew the second Test against Pakistan A on the final day in Lahore. David Hussey compiled his second century of the series as Australia declared at 361 and set Pakistan 401.
Bad weather forced an early end to the match, with only 28 overs possible on the fourth day. Australia added 73 to their overnight total and Hussey, unbeaten on 69, took his score to 112 before he was bowled by Mansoor Amjad. Hussey and Adam Voges added 85 for the third wicket.
Pakistan made 45 in 11 overs before play was called off. Opener Khalid Latif retired hurt after scoring 21, leaving Khurram Manzoor and Yasir Hameed to see off the remaining overs.
Australia had made 293 in the first innings with opener Phil Jaques scoring 82 and wicketkeeper Luke Ronchi smashing a 109-ball 107. Faisal Iqbal top scored for Pakistan with 74 and Doug Bollinger, the New South Wales left-arm fast bowler, took 5 for 15 to give his side a first-innings lead of 39 runs.
Australia won the first Test in Faisalabad by an innings and 203 runs while Pakistan won the preceding one-day series 3-0.
