This is the last real game before the West Indies meet New Zealand in the first of two Tests, the last Tests for both teams for this year

Silently, without much fanfare, the West Indies cricket team left the Caribbean for their short, but very important, tour of New Zealand

On perhaps the most perfect day for cricket of the four for this "Test", India "A" batted slowly, but surely and soundly, to ensure that they did not go one down in this two "Test" series

At the close of the third day of this very even four day game, the West Indies "A" team might just have a slight upper hand in this game, but India "A"'s batsmen are proving to be very resolute indeed

Under absolutely wonderful weather conditions for cricket, the first "Test" match between the West Indies "A" and the visiting Indian "A" team got under way today at the Queens Park Oval, Port Of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago, West Indies

Under much more cloudy conditions than the first day, the West Indies "A" team seemed to come out on the 2nd day with a direct plan to dismiss India "A" immediately

Even when one knows what destiny has in store for us as individuals, it is sometimes very difficult to be prepared for the actual event
